Beginning May 1, 2025, Providence Continuing Education will begin the strategic giving of at least 50% of its revenue to assist widows and orphans to live a more whole, full and complete life. Currently, there are approximately 11.5 million widows living in the United States, and 3.2 million orphans. Worldwide, there are approximately 140 million orphans, and 258 million widows. One in ten of these live in extreme poverty.
This is unacceptable.
According to various passages in the Bible (twelve separate verses, at least), it is clear that we are too be helping those around us in need. This book specifically states the importance of helping orphans and widows. Providence will now do its part to provide for the needs of widows and orphans by providing financial donations to agencies whose sole goal is to help these people groups. Each month, at least 50% of revenue from Providence CEUs will be shared with the partners below, and the plan is for the partnerships to grow!
(If you aren't interested in taking a course with Providence CEUs, we ask that you consider giving to any one of the partners below, or look for those in need in your local area, and give to them!)
